I was born in 1981 in South Yorkshire, England. I have always had a great passion for films and a keen interest in film music, although I never thought I would get involved with the film industry through music. It wasnt until I saw the film Gladiator and heard Hans Zimmer inspirational score, that I found my calling.
I have always loved to put music to images and thrived on enhancing a scene with music.
After finishing a BTEC in music I went on to complete a BA in Creative music Technology Majoring in composition. Im currently saving to do a Masters in Film and Television Music, which hopefully will start next summer. At the moment after the success of www.cphproductions.co.uk which has only been up and running for a few months Im concentrating on future projects.

I wanted to give you guys a preview of what our musician, Christopher, has been working on. I met Christ online on the StudentFilmmakers.com website. I was blown away by his work and contacted him. After looking through our website, hearing about the project, and getting a copy of the script, Chirs composed this short clip for us. I think it's amazing!! Soundtrack work is usually tailored to the final film which in our case hasn't been filmed yet! But it's great to have Chris on the team and already playing with different themes...Chris, you're AMAZING!! To listen to the music, hit the Play icon on the mini player to your left...My apologies if you have problems..still a little new to the Flash MX 2004 Suite...
Great news! We just got some nice press coverage! This article came out in this week's edition of the South Brunswick Post! If you haven't seen the article, you can read it right here...
I've been posting the cast bios as they come in to me..We have an outstanding cast and I couldn't be happier with them. Take a look see...
Einar Gunnar (The Diplomat) After an illustrious career as a Creative Director in advertising, with numerous award-winning TV commercials under his belt, Einar [pronounced: AY-nar] decided to see what life is like on the other side of the auditioning table.
Its scary. Yet thrilling.
Einar has acted in several short films so far, ranging from various supporting roles to a lead, and he finds it easy to fit into the filmmaking process, given his experience shooting commercials. Speaking of Einar would love to be cast in a TV spot. Or three.
I'm tired! I spent most of the day working on the dropship interior set! Did you know that one of the best traits for a successful independent film producer is being a good carpenter? I took photos for you but probably won't post them yet until the light at the end of the tunnel is much brighter..but actually it was a good day!
I've been posting actor bios in the casting section and that's also been exciting. We have a table read this weekend. That's basically when all the actors get together usually for the first time to meet each other and read through the script out loud. Will try to remember to take photos of that event too!
Q: Any advice for actors when it comes to auditions?
A: So glad you asked!! When a casting director (or in my poor case, director) posts an ad for auditions, their inbox and mailbox can be flooded with hundreds upon hundreds of submissions. In my case I posted online at a couple different sites and got the majority of my submissions via email. The advice I can give is about organizing your email so that it will have the highest chance of being seen.
1) Your headshot photo file and resume file should both be named with your first and last name. Don't send files named, "summer blond hair." That might remind you that the headshot was taken last summer when you had your hair dyed blond, but when it's in my Casting directory, I'll have no idea who you are.
